How can one man make a game so great all by himself?
By being white and passionate about gaming.
>>730762830>not ORCT2NGMI
How the FUCK do you build Wooden Wild Mouse without it turning into an intensity-rape machine?
>>730763019keep it slow by building deceleration hills up into the hairpin turns
>>730762873>trackitecture>track swapping>infinite moneyYou did not play the game.
>>730763432You could do those in the original game
>>730763019How the FUCK are you making wooden wild mice into intensity rape machines? Literally just don't have it going super fast around the sharp turns. Its not hard, 5 year old me could figure it out.
>>730761773Don't forget the two other guys who did the graphics and the music.
there were actually a couple other people providing art and sound assets, but the answer is a lot of code reuse from transport tycoon
>>730761773>greatNah there is a glaring oversight that prevents it from being great.Christ Sawyer should have made Log Flume rides incur a 1/2 stat penalty for not specifically including an on-ride photo section. In my opinion this is a critical failure of a Log Flume.
I really want an option to disable that fucking fast forward button I keep hitting it by mistake
i just want to make extremely insane coasters but everyone is too afraid to ride them :(
decent amount of RCT2 inspired games on the horizon, car park capital is about making a city dependent fully on cars and gas and it looks pretty good
>>730766169Bank your turns and/or slow your coaster the fuck down
>>730762830>litetally
>>730768320Looks fine but I can already tell it's going to have reddit tier lecturing
>>730762830What a king
>>730763502With trainers. RCT1 had no infinite money maps.
>>730768404yea ik but its not as fun, i want to make insane coasters
>>730768320It seems interesting but I'm worried the gameplay loop isn't going to be as interesting long term as RCT or Transport Tycoon.
>>730770886probably yea but it looks fun enough, hopefully you can fuck with your citizens in fun ways like rctfound this one today, seems like a pretty in depth city build inspired by rct, could be decent >>730771064yea im not sure how fun making a city will be vs making a custom park but time will tell
i like the first game over the second. the scenarios are better. The difficulty of the scenarios increases steadily as you play it, and the final ones are actually the hardest. The expansions were good and all of the scenarios are good. I prefer the simplicity of less rides, less coasters, less theming, etc. The limitations make you make the most of what you get to build, there's so much more variety in 2 that it can be overwhelming choosing what to build at times.
>>730771375Same. I feel it has a better progression through scenarios.
>>730771493the thing is in 2, some of the early scenarios are actually quite hard, and you're given so much options and rides in the big early scenarios like factory capers and amity airfield. Also so much of 2 is deleting all the pre-existing scenery to make money at the start which is annoying as hell. It's not that I don't like the scenarios they're still pretty fun, it's just the original games scenarios are just so much tighter.
>>730771375I use to just download the rct1 scenarios for rct2 and play those. Always hated the rct2 scenarios, they felt too gimmicky.
>>730771701Change Amity Airfield to "Misery Minefield" where certain tiles are designed to make guests explode when they stand on them, and your goal is to figure out which tiles they are and build your park around them so you actually have a shot at reaching the guest goal.
>>730771375RCT1 scenarios with the QOL changes from RCT2 is the ideal. That and with more stalls, thrill rides, transport, etc
>>730772158>rct1 scenarios but even easier is the idealno
Are there any fun custom scenarios that aren't minmax microcoaster bullshit
>>730771137reminds me more of simtown
>>730762830Hey I have those same Gateway speakers.
>>730762830This is unironically one of the greatest unintentional insights on women vs. men ever made. I'm not kidding. You could write a biblical essay and make the entirety of Chud Academy kneel with these 17 seconds alone.
>>730771375Same, I like the simplicity of the first. Second just has too much stuff
he wrote the entire game in assembly languagedangerously high levels of tism
