What do you guys think of the combo of the magic mana system and the slay the spire style card game? Have any other card games done it better than this one?

I've only made it to ascension 9 so far with a kinda defect like character, and those have begun deferring from STS ascensions. It gets a recommendation from me! Though I'm very excited to play this 2hu spire one
