Why aren't there more video games about ants?
>>730775371Never thought I'd see Company Flow while browsing /v/. This is such a fucking great album. It's how I'd imagine hip-hop sounding in a cyberpunk dystopia, but I guess I can say that about most of El-P's late 90s and early 00s production work:https://youtu.be/RuGvgz_kmNQ
>>730775609I have listened to Collude/Intrude something like 100 times.Favorite lyrics:>MCs couldn't hang if they was lynched by the grand dragon>My supersonics leave you mute like Maggie Simpson>MCs are helpless like Godzuki, faggot like Boo BooThis album isn't even close to perfect and El-P went on to make a bunch of bullshit (Run The Jewels is fucking aaaaawful), though. I think it's telling that they never performed anything past the first part of C/I live. I suppose making a rap song about mind control pissed off the blacks.
>>730775965>My supersonics leave you mute like Maggie SimpsonI think Bad Touch Example has one of favorite El lines on the album >Triple felon emcee minus the melanin / When I bomb with the type of shit to make Baby Jessica jump in the well again //But my favorite CoFlow track isn't even on the album https://youtu.be/Csi06tJKa0A
>>730776603I think the hip-hop I've listened to and wanted to adapt parts of for myself is in the general toolkit of the nerdcore rapper. Kool Keith, Deltron, Company Flow, Beastie Boys, etc. I've never liked MF Doom at all. Nerdcore hip-hop, though, I can listen to with few reservations. I've listened to Nerdcore Rising, Secrets From The Future, Solved, Sick Passenger, This Gigantic Robot Kills, Optimus Rhyme, The Digital Gangster LP, Neals, I Invented The Computer, Mega Ran and Mega Ran 9, ZeroOne, and even a bit of Klopfenpop. Good shit.I was obsessed with JT Machinima when Nerdcore Encore hit and their recent FNAF 3 rap reworking their old song Welcome To America might as well be their best track.>https://youtu.be/-fUj4vJt9oE?si=-ki9a7126wwiVHPd
