Yeah but I understand completely if someone puts 1 over 2. I was just one of those kids who complained there wasn't enough action and CORE while granting my wishes also went way to far in the opposite direction. In hindsight anyway.

The one where she takes a tour of Africa and becomes an honorary member of a tribe, tattoos and all. It explains some of her superhuman feats after she absorbed the chief's essence in that ritual.

For me, it's either 3 or 4.
I like 3 mostly out of sentiment, because it was my first TR game and I played it A LOT.
I also don't mind 2, but I am weird, because I've played all the TR games backwards (3-2-4-1-5) so I have a bit of nostalgia bias.

Well now I'm tired and too lazy to get into each entry. I would say I might change Angel of Darkness's place and put it above 3 but that's just cause I liked the Paris stuff a lot. Which really isn't very Tomb Raider but I enjoyed the running around the streets talking to people to find ways to proceed with the main objectives.

Chronicles is just bad. I can't remember any of the levels even though I beat it just last year I think everyone would be better off ignoring it and playing some fan missions instead.

My love for Shadow is entirely based around the fact you get to play dress up with Lara. Otherwise I think all three are basically the same on terms of my enjoyment of them. The first reboot trilogy I barely remember and would probably do myself a favor if I gave them a replay. The QTE's are terrible, but hey it was "the style at the time". I don't think there is a Tomb Raider game I hate. At their worst I just got bored.

Protip if you decide to try out some custom fan levels, and there are MANY, you might have to make a special folder and tell windows to exclude that from virus protection cause winblows freaks out at the altered exe's and think's their all viruses. At least that's how it worked for me.

Same. At this point I'd say the originals are the ones I enjoy the least because I can't stand the tank controls and struggling with camera anymore.

I did two replays of them. One with classic controls before the remasters came out with fan patches and one with modern when the remasters were released. Modern is fine with some odd choices for certain movements but I guess I understand why those choices were made. My real problem with modern is I found myself not stopping to look around near as much as I did with classic, and I'd miss secrets or pathways more often.
