I just spent the last 4 hours playing it. I definitely enjoyed it a lot. Once you get into the swing of things, you quickly see there is more to it than just being a "Minecraft clone", but there isn't anything to work towards besides upgrading your tools and armor. There are some dungeons you can explore though. I see the potential and I'm sure it will only get better in the future. But that will take time. I'm also not fond of how the food system works. Even the best things you can make only heal you for 10 or 15% and give a pitiful regen buff for a little bit. Combat is really fun though. It already has an advantage over Minecraft in that front. Overall 7/10 experience with plenty of room for growth.

My initial thoughts as a long time modded minecraft player:World gen looks all right. Tree and mushroom variety is great, but I'drather each tree have its own wood items instead of the generic ones. I assume that might be coming later.Iron seems about as dangerous to get as dismonds in MC, it's down in an igneous layer with lava and hard rock.I like the variation in stone types, good to have that in the base game. The couple of generated structures i found were nice, seems like it's got similar to recurrent complex built in as well.Combat is basically just skyrim, nothing amazing but its serviceable for this kind of game. It has skeletons, so that's also good. Every game needs to have skeletons in itAnimals i don't quite understand how to tame, theres not really any in game information about anything and you kind of need to know the conceits of the genre. I think the art style is perfect for a block game but the water and lava look bad. Rivers would be much better if they were actually flowing as well. Not sure what they're doing with that if anything.

What i didn't like is the durability mechanic, ideally I could just turn that off like with item drops on death. Durability has never once been implemented in a fun way. Theres not really much variety in enemy drops either. The cooking is extremely bare bones for all the different crops they have as well
