What is the hivemind consensus on the Tomb Raider remasters? Just finished TR1 not long ago and was thinking of booting up TR2 but might not because I don't wanna burn out. The "remastered" FMVs look like absolute dogwater, but overall I enjoyed TR1 with tank controls.
Also why did they do her hair like bubbles, the og looks way better.

They're pretty great ways to replay them. The original releases were fine too and all of them have easy to apply fan patches that fix them up proper for modern systems. Personally my biggest issue with the remastered graphics is all the extra foliage and grass they stuck around which made it harder for me to see items lying around. But it wasn't a deal breaker or anything, when playing the Remasters I swap between new and old graphics constantly, it is just tied to a button press after all.

the remasters would've been fine had the kept the originals' fake lighting
