Anyone find any good demos during the Detective Festival?I liked SideEye High, even though it looks ugly. It looks ugly because it is ugly, but the gameplay was good enough not to dismiss the game entirely because it decided to do a stylistic choice of making Americans look hideous.
This one was not too bad, but I'm not sure it's worth full price either. Might be a 50% off game. Might just take time to draw players in, which is hard to do in demos.
This one lead me directly to a dead end overlooking a chasm and the character says that he does not like heights but we have to cross the gap anyway which heavily implied to me he was a supernatural guy with floaty powers so there should be a way to fly to the other end of the gorge. Turns out that's not what you're supposed to do. dumb demo got offed.
This one is actually fully out right now but the early reviews say it's too easy. and gamers are total morons who usually can't figure anything out so if they think it's too easy then it probably is. wait and see on this one.

Like the level in your screenshot, I didn't formulate a theory for the case but I thought I'd take a look at the words to be filled and it really spits out the motive and events to the point where I solved it immediately.
