WOW and FAS are one movie stretched out across 6 and a half fucking hours of mostly mundane content that could easily be condensed and edited down to a solid 3 or god forbid, 2 and a half hours of poignant content. Nobody in their right mind wants to see characters whos names you’ll forget, swimming with whales or the fact that FAS’s final battle is literally a combination of the final battles of the last two movies. The only thing people find interesting are the villains and its because they’re entertaining and cartoonishly evil. Lets not kid ourselves either, Avatar is not some milestone anymore like it was in 2009. The characters and their conflicts are too one dimensional for a world as pretty as that.

The movies are fun to watch at the theater. They don't all need to live rent free in my head for the next decade to be a worthwhile experience. The same applies to many videogames you retards say are dead, had no cultural impact or whatever.

Is it true they cut like half an hour where they explain the humans fired a laser into the planet's core and that's why there's that crater with the magnetic field and the spirit of the planet is in pain and rejects Sully's daughter?
