should i play silent hill f on normal for the first playthrough?i've been playing games since i was 4, most games on normal i can breeze through, i played re2make-re4make on hardcore first time, sh2 remake on hard, every nu-doom game on whatever comes before nightmarebut this game is kicking my ass on boss fights with the souls shit

>>730790563>but this game is kicking my ass on boss fights with the souls shitIf you aren't familiar with the Souls combat formula, you'll probably want to play it on Normal for your first go instead of Hard/Lost in Fog for combat. You have to be patient, perfect dodge through attacks, focus mode counter the right moves, and seize your turn to punish the bosses when you have an opening inbetween attacks. This takes trial and error to learn their patterns though, so you're gonna eat shit on a few initial runs while getting a feel for their movesets and when to dodge or prep a focus moments before HINAKO COUNTER opportunities pop up. You don't get anything special ingame for beating combat on harder difficulties.

Some of the omomoris you get on the 2nd/3rd playthrough completely trivialise the combat. I thought they nerfed this crap game anyway
