I'm gonna play multiplayer games drunk as hell and nothing can stop me

I used to do that too, it's all I would want to play when I was drinking. Since being sober, I can't stand them. Funny how that works. Enjoy your game OP.

It was the opposite for me, used to love getting hammered and playing some multiplayer with the boys but i noticed my performance turned to complete shit and it became very frustrating knowing i was better but still getting shit on by enemies.
Then i switched to getting hammered and playing single player games but that would just result in me getting too tired to concentrate halfway through the night and i would end up here instead... i think im drinking too much

Gotta know that sweetspot of drunkenness where it acts as a social lubricant but doesnt impair your motor skills or perception and then stop drinking more.

Good on you, don't let others stop you. Friendly reminder games are for entertainment and aren't serious. If you treating it like a job or a real sport then just get a real job or play a real sport in the first place. Hell may make you healthier in more ways than just mental. "It is a ranked game" isn't an excuse. Unless you are playing in a tournament or earning your right to be part of one then bronze/silver/gold/whatever ranking exist to trick you to keep playing so new paying customers can have someone to play with. It just images man. Beside if your team sucks so much that you can't even carry them is your goto excuse then odds are you are the issue by not learning from your own past mistakes as you always blaming others. Maybe if you connect with people you play with and have a good time you could understand them better and play better as a result. Rank games as a whole is a trap. In an ideal world if the elo work perfectly then you at BEST have a 50/50% odds of ever winning. The other team/player are people just as much as you are. For you to win they have to lose. To whine about losing is being a bitch about someone winning. Let that sink in. If that truly upset you then the winning move is to never play from the start as you are literally guarantee to lose once the elo catch up. What you going to do, smurf all day just to whine newbies don't know how to play? Legit get a life if you are one of those people.

I used to get drunk and play Halo, CoD, Counter Strike, and TF2. Now when I get drunk I just feel tired because I've moved on from playing shooters. I see people enjoying these multiplayer shooters but I get some kind of PTSD, like the failures aren't worth the success. Lots of little sounds like bullets hitting kevlar in CS make my eyes hurt. Lots of playing those games while I had 4chan in the background during downtime screwed me up. I wish those kinds of multiplayer games would die because they do things to mens' minds. Many of them were originally funded by the Air Force too. Now I prefer Mario Kart and Smash Bros.
