>Play Skong on release
>Outside of a few bits like the high hauls gauntlet and the abyss lava climb horseshit have a pretty fuckin nito time
>4 months later get hollow knight on switch 2 to revisit it now it seems Lifebloods being recontextualised and HK is a very different game when you notice all the lifeblood shit right from the image of lifeblood before the title screen
>Well i one shot everything in it but after Silksong thats expected right?
>Gives me a hankering for Silksong again so start a new game
>Mfw after beating Lost Lace and First Sinner nothing in this replay challenges me and i hit act 3 credits that took me 87 hours the first time in 9 hours.
>Tfw you got gud and now the very thing you loved the game for is missing because you are now the skilled freakbeast the bosses struggle and fail to beat.

The first time this happened to me was going back to Demon's Souls and realising how shockingly easy it is for anyone whos played Bloodborne or Sekiro where everything is faster than the Flame Demon as a baseline.

How do you get that feeling back bros? must we always rely on Master Quest style mods? why don't devs make that a baseline? i feel like the older i get the more i make up self enforced bullshit rules to keep the fun.

Do you feel this feel i am feeling deeply bros?
