The only thing its not good for is modding, for a multitude of reasons. One of which being modsing. For example if you use MWGE for morrowind it cant inject into direct x. Depending on how you want to roll the dice though this can be a deal breaker if you dont want to use openmw which conveniently doesnt work with the gog version on linux. There are some other retarded things though usually unrelated to gaymin. Audio sync with pulse, file size bloat especially if you use snap, flat pack or any other software manager (inb4 elitist retards and arch users who break their shit constantly come & say imagine using snap), log file bloated. I've seen some distros eat up an entire ssd with log files. Tldr linux is about as complicated as android.
