Only like three or four actual platforming levels (that properly use all of the base mechanics including the different guns), each one separated by up to four gimmick levels.
The fact it has more stupid fucking minigame/gimmick levels than actual levels and even then the first level is the only decently designed one. Actual bait and switch.

Judging by that one prototype, they planned EVEN MORE gimmick levels and wanted to make Puppy Love even worse by adding some ankle-biting thing that'd follow you.
