The next Zelda is going to allow the placement of portals, and puzzles that can include using them to introduce hookshot points via portal. Nintendo is really going all out this time.

I could understand not knowing of Portal, it was pretty niche. However, San Andreas is Grand Theft Auto, not knowing about that series is crazy work.

Mine is similar, via the use of caves, it splits up the maps because you don't immediately know where you exited and entered from, so you have to piece back together your maps based on your own understanding of the topography. There's other ideas too, but that's the closest to what you said.
