I 100%'d Spyro 2 not too long ago. Should I jump straight into Spyro 3?

Spyro 3 is pretty much "spyro 2 but more". Whether that's good or bad depends on how much you enjoyed the minigames and backtracking.

>>730822990Spyro 3 is just a shittier Spyro 2. They added a bunch of alternate characters and "muh skating" because they were experimenting with game genres for their next potential projects. The same was done by Naughty Dog with Crash 3. Both Spyro 3 and Crash 3 just served as a training ground for developers to dip their toes outside of the platformer genre.

>>730824756The only thing better about Crash 3 are the power ups and boss fights. But 30% of the levels were dogshit. Crash 2 is an overall more enjoyable experience because it's not a mishmash of random minigames.

I'd argue the level themes were better as well, though Crash 1 was the best of them with all the levels being connected. I'll take some half baked minigames here and there if it means I get higher highs in regular gameplay.
Spyro 2 is better solely for having faunbags in it.
