Generally speaking, how does one define a superboss? Is it simply an optional boss serving as the most difficult opponent in the game?
Artificial difficulty that makes you grind to max level or use a guide.
Superbosses are optional bosses significantly harder than the mandatory final boss.
Bosses that are harder than the final boss but not part of the main story. Artifical difficulty doesn't exist. Either it's hard or it's not.

The fight takes like over an hour, but you can pace yourself by saving / healing outside the arena so long as you do it quickly and re-engage the boss before his self heals undo your work.I watched a football game for most of the battle just checking to see if anyone was dead. You really only have to pay attention for that last quarter of HP as he starts getting stupidly fast, multi-hit combos and spamming insta-kills.
