this game looks kinda fun. if i enjoyed the comfy of animal crossing new horizons but stopped playing because of the lack of purpose, is this a good fit?
also ~~if i pirate it do i miss out on a lot of online content or is it just as fine offline?~~

Online is the best way to get blue flowers other than a irl daily reset system and a shitty random quest system that gives a pittance, and it's the most efficient way to grind. But nothing exclusive to online.

Pirate it, you'll get bored of it asap, shit's empty.
The story is stupid, the characters are obnoxious and the grinding is fun until you realize everything surrounding it sucks and you're wasting you're life, which is right around the part you mount the dragon and get dropped on a stupid desert area
