A wacky party platform fighter is the worst place for a series like Metroid to be featured in. Metroid is a serious and atmospheric franchise with no "lol so wacky XD" elements. Even someone like Snake makes more sense because MGS is full of wacky shit. But Metroid? It just doesn't work. I can't bring myself to play as Samus in Smash because it just feels wrong.
