You know, LC and Repo have their issues, but at least LC has a public browser and Repo is making one (has one?). But I can't believe there's no "join lobby" function at all. This slop is entirely reliant on friend invites and lobby session IDs, which aren't even available within the game itself. How is this slop okay?

I, for one, am grateful to have met many kind, fun, interesting, and altogether lovely people through Peak threads. I feel like I've made some real friends here, I hope I can become friends with many more of you, and the camaraderie means a lot to me since I'm very isolated and lonely IRL. Not having a built-in lobby browser or matchmaking may be a silly limitation, but if we weren't limited to private lobbies I doubt we'd have such a tight-knit group of regulars, and I'm not sure I'd have joined or stuck with /v/ lobbies myself.

When I was younger I also wanted to live as long as possible and was content indulging in my hobbies and interests on my own like some of you guys, but after doing that for years everything feels pointless without someone to share it with. I just picture myself spending the rest of my life grinding for retirement then decaying alone and I wish it could be over already. So as stupid as it is to get attached to people you've known for months at most, it does give me the slightest bit of hope being part of this.
