Did anyone else feel a bit underwhelmed by the gameplay footage that they released recently?
I don't know man, after 10 years I expected something else, perhaps more attention to the environmental destruction aspect which was great in the first game, maybe more weapons that interacted differently with the environment and other mechs. I certainly didn't expect them to go for an isometric shooter where you have to loot your own mechs, equipment and suits, but I think I could get behind that eventually, but I think the control scheme will feel really weird on a human character.

Also, where is the titty robot, Stellar Jockeys?

looks like brigador with a campaign and thats all i was expecting.

Brigador itself already had a loosely defined campaign, as long as you just picked the next mission.
Now, the progression has the potential to feel a bit more involved, instead of just buying stuff and unlocking it permanently on your loadouts, you have to scavenge stuff and actually make room for it in your garage. And hey, I can get behind that.

The dude has been writing books and doing all sorts of other shit while he's working on it, cut the nigger a break. It's going to be cool.

Yeah, maybe I'm being a bit pessimistic.
I saw some of the minis they're making, but I haven't heard about the books.

A little bit of realism does wonders for any setting.

thats a fake campaign

was going to say hard pass at first, since the entire appeal of brigador was the mech, but it looks like we can get in vehicles still and so this could become a modern gta 2 and now I might be interested, but otherwise it doesn't look to be doing anything interesting that brigador isn"t already doing... but better

I never thought that Brigador was brilliant or anything in the first place
Pretty good for what it is but there's a lot of those games out there

Brigador Killers OST is banging tho

>On-foot sections
Who asked for this?

Nobody, but devs probably didn't want to rehash the last game.

Future cop LAPD was better, there I said it. More coherent, better game, just worse graphics

It's probably going to be an above average/good game with some really good quirks but bogged down on it's repetitiveness and pretty flat gameplay like the first one with amazing atmosphere and audiovisuals, and pretty good lore in which can sink your teeth in for a weekend or so
