This feels too gratuitous for a Silent Hill game. Every end of the level throws someone getting brutally murdered at you for cheap shock value. The other Silent Hill games were more subtle with their horror and were more about what you DIDN'T see. Death was used sparingly and always had a point. In 4? it's just generic cheap shock value.
