I know fags who are retarded think that TotK took 6 years to make, despite being on the same engine and game, but nintendo are smart as a business. They dont make a new game to compete with their old game if the old game is still selling. Same reason we have not got a new 3d mario game.In BotW case they managed to double dip too so it was selling for a long time. I expect TotK sold less as 1 system as well as it was a retread so people who didnt like BotW would not play it and it didnt hit as big as BotW.Point I am getting at is TotK sales would have most likely dwindled by now.Adding to that switch 2 sales are not as huge so they need a system seller. I expect at least a new mario game soon, possibly this year. Mario and zelda are the real system seller IPs.For me I wont buy a switch 2 until the next zelda drops.Rumours are that the game is gonna use the same engine. This is pretty much a given seeing how much effort went into that engine and how great it is. They would be foolish to dump it.So that should dramatically lessen the dev time.Though i doubt they will reuse the same art assets, they could reuse lots of the other assets.
