These games are some of the only ones I've seen in the industry that don't simply have poor localizations, but ones that actively seem to disrespect the source material. You can feel the disdain for the original in each line. The simple fantasy nature needed to be spiced up in their eyes. They saw it as a generic blank canvas for them to do what they want.

If I'm having an easier time to read the game in Japanese than in English, we got a serious problem here.
