Ok I caved and pirated it. Had fun exploring, the biome diversity is cool but some of them are ugly and I hope someone is working on a larger biome/continents mod because Minecraft has the same problem appealing to zoomies. Also I hope a Voxy/Distant Horizons equivalent comes out at some point because I cannot go back to this without it. What's the actual goal of the game? To get full Mithril gear? What is the point in memories? And what's the best way to explore far away? Are there boats or flying machines or anything? Are there any difficult dungeons with actual decent loot because once you get iron gear you can cheese them with zero effort.

I feel like the player has way too much for combat, and that makes combat just unfair against monsters. Just the bow alone makes the whole game a breeze if you shoot from long range. I'm pretty sure you can also stagger/knockback mobs with the bow which makes things even more unfair.

The game is so similar to minecraft that you could just play this as a minecraft mod.All the improvements over minecraft are surface level like having nicer animations and the game coming with better shaders that don't need to be downloaded as a mod.The things it does better don't matter. I am glad some anons are having fun with this game but is the combat the only real gameplay improvement over minecraft? I don't care much for combat and spend most of the start of any minecraft playthrough setting myself up to have to interact with combat as little as possible (torches for reducing spawns, enchanted armor to roflstomp enemies, etc). How much of this game is actually combat focused? I don't just mean the combat system itself but is it sort of like mods like twilight forest or aether where there's dungeons with much stronger enemies you have to fight? I'd be less interested if so, I saw some webms with what looks like miniboss type monsters hence my concern

I seem a similar structure to that on zone 1 but it was on creative mode, so I didn't explore too deeply so I would not spoil myself. There are also a goblin dungeon if you get lucky where it spawn some plataforms were you can jump and an underground goblin village, in my world it also spawned under a lake so it had this huge waterfall right in the middle were the sun would shine trough and make everything have this hazy blue effect.Dungeons are very integrated with the caves, they mix and match together quite a lot, there a lot of smaller structures like mc dungeons too with some loot in to you may find. They exist but I think right now they are somewhat repetitive too.

Are you not expected to go to the lava depths early on? Thats where all the iron is, but even with iron armor+tools the enemies there have too much health and deal too much. Feels more like you're fighting for your life than mining, but maybe some people are into that.
