Live service models designed to feature tons of busy work for meager currency forcing players to save for months or spend money. They are almost entirely slot machines where the prize is anime women. Even in gachas where males are prevalent they're treated as worthless low rarity fodder unless they're specifically marketed for femcels.Every single high budget gacha title from China would be infinitely better if it were treated as a normal game with a normal price tag where character and weapon acquisition were obtained at the player's pace.No I don't count that one game that removed the gacha in favor of Korean style MMO grinding.
