How are you enjoying the new 3.0 update in ACNH so far, anon?
>>
It's definitely reminding me why I stopped playing
>customize my town to where everything needs to be just so, like using dirt paths with walkways, growing pine trees on the highest layer in the north, having parks/gardens
>have to constantly maintenance it daily to ensure it's not going to have random fossils spawn in or new flowers growing in spots
>rampant "one-more" gameplay where I always want to do something else
>lose hours just bug catching or fishing
Good game but it becomes chore simulator real quick. I don't even have my house in it decorated how I'd like and doing so is going to add so many hours without intervention of online trade.
>>
I sold my switch in 2023 so I can't play it anymore. Maybe I can try pirating it.

too little too late

Been looking to play an AC game again, but the last one I truly enjoyed was the original on Gamecube. I've heard that New Leaf is the one of the good ones, how does it compare against the original?
I've tried to play NH and City Folk, but didn't enjoy either enough to stick around. NH felt lifeless in comparison, its been a while since I played City Folk, but I remember not enjoying it enough to stick around.
