You can only really do that if your sentry is just in a random spot and not defending the objective. An unattended sentry is a free kill for a soldier or a demo and unless you're literally right next to it there's no way you can react in time.

Engineer is comfy when you don't try hard, I like seeing numbers on my teleporter count go up on big Payload and A/D maps. Feels nice to just chill and still feel credit to team.
