>>730872308It really was. It created a shitty story situation where you can't actually defeat any of the org members throughout the game because they all have to stay alive for the battle at the end. And likewise the org members can never actually try to kill the heroes because they also need to keep them alive for the battle.And it raises the question, why the fuck are the heroes going along with this plan anyways? They should be trying to hunt down and kill the org members individually so that the conditions for the battle can't be fulfilled and Xehanorts plan can never succeed. But instead they're just, playing along for no reason.That's why the whole game feels like filler, because the plot of the stupid 7 vs 13 mandates that NOTHING important can happen throughout the game because everyone MUST be present at the end.
Nope this is what its all about.

>>730874849As for why they have to go along with the plan, if the heroes sat on their asses Xehanort would end up using the 7 princesses of heart as the lights needed. Them working on gathering the 7 heroes changes the odds of Xehanort's plan working from guaranteed to it might fail. It's also a bit difficult to hunt down a group of people that can teleport at will. I do agree that the disney worlds are even more filler this time especially with how Sora could have gone to save Aqua then immediately have gone to Ventus after Olympus since he always had the power of waking, but it's not due to Xehanort's plan.
