The FF7 on PS1 was literally the very FIRST FF game to get released here, and other big hitters like Chrono Trigger and DQ never arrived on the old continent until the 2000s' re-releases on younger systems.In case of FF7, there's hardly a better place to get your feet wet.The pacing is great, the art-design and atmosphere are stellar, the OST is gorgeous and iconic, characters are fun and varied instead of blank slates, and the gameplay is easy enough for a total child to get into, but has plenty of challenging side content to keep veteran players busy.
