I'm over 40, and while I liked most of those games when I was younger I think they have all aged very badly. The only one I would consider replaying is Bloodlines, and even then I doubt I'd get very far. You guys need to move on.

I've been having more fun with mods lately for these old games. I played Max Payne with the adaptive difficulty remover mod and it made the game a lot more enjoyable because you didn't have difficulty dipping and spiking so much. I played the Dreamland mod for American McGee's Alice which was pretty high quality and I really enjoyed that too. I thought of trying the LA by Night mod for VtMB next but haven't started it yet. Trying to find multiplayer games to play unfortunately but a lot of the old games I liked are mostly dead or changed too much and became less enjoyable.

>>730879998I finished Clair Obscur yesterday and I thought it was great, aside from the combat becoming extremely repetitive towards the end.Story is great, albeit a bit meta in a way, graphics are great, combat is great, world map is extremely great and the picto system is fun until you get the 40 cost pictos and then it becomes just equipping the highest stats.The side quests are a bit dull and I have little motivation to finish post game content since the story is already finished and combat boils down to timing parries and going through the optimal skill sequence over and over again.It's a good 8/10 j'RPG with good twists in the story that you don't see too much nowadays. The game is very creative with its' combat system and provides puzzle fights along the way but they are mostly one offs or the recurring 3 types of Petanks. Get it at sale or pirate it like I did.
