Started my channel last year and didn't want to do what everyone does so:
1) no provocative title
2) no misleading thumbnail
3) videos without filler and straight to the point
4) some editing instead of just a voice over some B roll footage of trailers
result: 200 average views, 5 subs, 0 comments
then, made a video trying to bait Overwatchfags and Marvel Rivalstards into fighting in the comments using a ragebait title and thumbnail with 0 editing that I recorded and edited in a single day
result: 3k views, 50 subs, 40 comments

Now it's pretty much all I do.

I'll play the game on easy mode, then make a whole 8 hour video that merely repeats what was already stated. So that in a fanbase where the majority already hasn't played the game, new fans can now "discuss" the story.
