at the time he said it, he was absolutely correct. it took nips an extraordinarily long time to figure out development after the beginning of HD gaming. the vast majority of japanese games during the 360/ps3 era were real bad, and if they weren't bad they were things that could've existed on the previous generation's hardware, nothing groundbreaking at all. they're back to making good shit now though, for the most part
