It's not AI, the trolls have lost the ability to tell the difference between human and computer produced assets. They could distinguish it at first, but the technology improved quite rapidly and eliminated the tells. They were just beta testers to make the AI better at fooling humans. Now they are too proud to admit that a machine can do something they can't. So they're just guessing about what is AI drawn and what isn't.
