the game would still be alive if the PvE fags didnt get them to radically change the whole game from the ground up to be a wow clone like a year before its release.

Imagine being a game dev who finally gets to make your dream game then one of the big investors daughters tries the network test and dies in pvp then gets made fun of in game so now you have to change everything from the ground up so people wont be so toxic anymore.

As someone who played the alpha and beta, the other version of the game could have MAYBE worked, if they actually put in some effort. But since they didn't give a flying fuck, it was literally just a bunch of experienced players instantly ganking the shit out of every single person who logged into the game.

Their player retention from the alpha and beta must have been absolutely awful and what made the devs/publishers shit their pants and do the emergency revamp of the game.
