Wolfenstein 3D is still a fun and challenging experience with its own unique feel to it since it's the fastest hitscan-oriented FPS ever made by nature of its simplicity. Fast movement, low TTK, and a class-based design in its purest form. You needed Medics and Lieutenants for health and ammo since there were no map pickups, you needed Engineers to do objectives and open flanks, and you needed minigun/sniper/flamethrower/panzer Soldiers to make any progress in the frontlines.
