After playing NG1B,NG2S,NG3RE and DMC1,DMC2,DMC3SE back to back for the first time to finish on normal I can say NG series is better.
I thought I would enjoy DMC more after playing the NG games as they have some dogshit enemy designs from time to time but DMC2 and 3 has those too.

NG enemies are also alot more fun to fight and the moveset is better for the most part.

Normal is what 99% of the playerbase plays despite what your terminally online small bubble would suggest.

Not that anon. Do you think you might enjoy DMC if you played it on a higher difficulty? Never played the 3D Ninja Gaiden games. All I know is that they're supposed to be stupid difficult. Feel like it would be more fair to compare the 2 series if you played DMC on a higher difficulty that's more comparable to NG's Normal difficulty. I have played every DMC game; Aside from maybe 1 and maybe some moments in 3, I don't recall Normal difficulty requiring you to learn the intricacies of the combat like I would assume a game like Ninja Gaiden might
