Switch 2 had one of, if not the best launch of any console ever. Millions flying off the shelves instantly.
However, that's exactly why now it has dropped off so much. Everyone desperate to get one already did, and there's not much to entice new people to jump in since the price is still just as high, with fears of an even higher price potentially coming in the future. Nintendo kinda shot themselves in the foot here, and I don't think they can fix it any time soon unless they decide to either do a price cut (never happening) or they release a game so crazy everyone will want it regardless of how expensive the console (could be pokemon this year, but this is GameFreak we're talking about so quality is not guaranteed)
