Did you know? Wands don't start reloading until you've used every spell on them. Switching off a wand and back reloads it instantly so long as it hasn't already started it's reload cycle.Those junky multicast wands with the 3 second recharge time are actually pretty decent if you use this trick. Just put one more spell than it can cast in one shot on the wand and switch off every time you fire to get a kind of awkward shotgun.
