How is it broken on pc? Derek yu is a rich fag and he doesn't need to put it on sale. Its backwards compatible on xbox but impossible to buy just because he doesn't care. Inb4 xbox is dead. There was still at least 1000 people playin the 360 version based on weekly scores. Not bad for a game that released in 2012.

There's good stuff in here sure so I can't be too mad. Was worth the admission price but it's funny how dedicating to the bit really made some crap entries.

As I always say, time will not be very kind to this game.
Spellunky will stand the test of time much better than UFO 50, by far. In fact, there are more people playing Spellunky 2 on Steam than UFO50 right now, so that's already a good sign of what I'm talking about.

Why won't UFO 50 stand the test of time?
First, because most of the 50 games are just bad, and the few that aren't bad don't have enough depth.
Then, most important, the art is too weak, and not even the die-hard fans trying to make those soulless mascots gain some traction have managed to make anything stand out, because there's no charisma.
The game tries to recall classics from the past, but it doesn't have that same feel from the past. There are some things I genuinely liked, such as that sunset shooter, that game has a certain personality, but most are clearly made by modern people, with modern sensibilities and modern philosophies. And modern people are all fucking gay. The UFO 50 devs just weren't up to replicating this historical phase, and I find it bizarre that they thought they could do it in the first place. The people working on those old games were products of a different time, and their minds worked very differently.

I didn't think House Party's cherry was bad but it does have a good amount of RNG so it's annoying that you can get unlucky near the end of your runs. First try I got to 6 wins in a row and lost on the 7th and then second try I got the cherry.
One time the only partygoer available with above 1 popularity was the monkey. I still beat it by just getting a couple monkeys and maxing out photographers to take pictures of the monkey.
