Three Hopes runs at a good frame rate but just up the resolution for fuck's sake. Koei Tecmo has yet to do any patches for their old games from what I can tell. Obviously Three Houses is missing a patch as well but who knows if it will ever get one. Engage looked good enough to where honestly it doesn't need the patch as badly, but would still be nice to see that game at a higher res as well. Just feels like they're holding off on patches to time with other stuff. Like I was hoping Age of Calamity would get a patch alongside Age of Imprisonment but nahh. Only the new game is allowed to run well at a nice resolution. It's stupid. I wanted to replay the older one first. I want to play through Three Hopes on native hardware. I've tried emulating it but it crashes quite a lot on my setup.

I like that three hopes had to make it really obvious that Dimitri is the actual hero by turning Edelgard into a retarded crying child and Claude into a psychopath.
>>730924867it plays similar like Fire Emblem with there being the RPS' weaknesses and having a menu where you can plan and send your allies in a specific direction. the only difference is that you get to actually play the fights and they're actually pretty fun since they let you build your characters with active and passive skills. i enjoyed it. it's my favorite musou game yet
