Here is a philosophical question for you guys.
What wold hurt Nintendo more financially.

Emulating Meteoroid Prime 4 or pirating it on modded switch booth of which are is illegal.
Or
Buying a used copy of Meteoroid Prime 4 to play on the Switch (or to dump the rom of to emualte) and then selling it once i beat it which is 100% legal.
>>
The second has a bigger chance of hurting Nintendo financially because the person that is buying your used copy will not give that money to Nintendo by purchasing the game. There is a chance that the second scenario helps Nintendo if the person you bought the used copy from spends that money on a new Nintendo game, however.

the first one
in the second case, you're still buying or selling the game twice. While the money might not go to nintendo, it still signals to the market that there's interest in the game. If nobody bought any used copies people selling it used would eventually start to lower the price to attempt to attract customers. Which again might not be money that goes to nintendo but it still impacts both how people view the game and how people's predictions about future games.
