The only things I feel the original does better is that you can skip through the dialogue faster if you've already read it, and it runs at 60fps compared to the remake's 30fps. Almost everything else is better in the remake. The new graphics look absolutely beautiful. The new soundtrack is one of the best in the franchise. The dialogue has been massively improved over the original script. There's extra superbosses not in the original game. Everyone's faces are far more expressive. And there's a bunch of other quality of life improvements such as less backtracking and easier partner swapping. I highly recommend it over the og.
