I’m currently playing Binary Domain. Started it 6 years ago on 360 but only played for a couple hours, just got back into it and I’m definitely going to finish it this week. This game is a serious hidden gem. The cover always made it look like the most generic shit to me but the game plays well and has such a great cast. I’m glad RGG is starting to do more non-Yakuza games again with VF6 and Stranger Than Heaven. They’re too talented to just churn out endless titles for a single series

Saturn and Dreamcast had plenty of top tier, creative games, it’s just that Sega fucked themselves so hard that few people were paying attention to them. Panzer Dragoon curbstomps Star Fox, the Shinobi series curbstomps most other action platformers of the time, Phantasy Star 4 and Skies of Arcadia are still among the cream of the crop for JRPGs, the Shining Force series is still among the cream of the crop for SRPGs, and so on

Why is Zero Wing OST better on the MegaDrive?Maybe it is too hard for me, but I don't find it the best SHMUP. The music, however, is awesome.
