What games lend themselves more to handheld gaming. Playing cyberpunk on my switch 2 and and while cool it exists this is the kinda game that doesn’t really feel right to play handheld. I’ve always preferred turn based rpgs on handhelds
>>730927685>Metroidvania>VNs>Jrpgs>Tactical rpgs>TB games like old XCOM>Simple rhythm games like Persona dancing all night and PataponThats what I usually play on my Vita. Movie games, RTS, FPS, 3rd person shooters and Simulation games are meant for bigger screens and better controls
None. Handhelds are fucking baby shit
>>730927685Rhythm games. Vita had quite a few. IA/VT Colorful is underrated.
>>730927685It's a game-by-game basis. Certain genres like turn-based RPGs lend themselves better in general, but these are my specific criteria:>easy to put down and pick back up>not bogged down by interruptions (like slow menus)>a game where you have a lot of control over pacing is a plus>being playable while muted is a plus>basically any game that lets you occasionally disengage since you won't always be 100% focused. Some of my favorites are Mystery Dungeon, Persona, Ace Attorney, Muramasa, Pokemon, Yokai Watch, Picross (and similar puzzle games of the same vein), Animal Crossing, etc.

>>730927685Anything that is not a fps or a bullet hell, basically anything that doesn't require precision or too many different inputs in a short amount of time like an mmo where you need 15 different keybinds fot all your skillsI know monster hunter was made for portables but that shit sucks to control in a handheld
Still using mine after 13 years to play vn, Vanillaware titles and the Danganronpa series. After all this time that damn thing still works like a charm and the battery just don't wanna give up, i swear it's sturdier than a Nokia phone!
