RUN THIS TOWN
Top seems to be de-greening the image heavily, and a lot of the edges of objects are no longer highlightedBut yes, the lighting is better. I couldn't help zoom in down here for the original and notice all these objects not even casting shadows
>>730927784Cyberpunk 2077 was always a non-raytracing game first and foremost, which is ironic because it's also one of the games with the most extensive use of ray tracing capabilities. But it's great because it allows anyone to play it without missing out too much visually.
>>730928269Dogtown was made with ray tracing in mind though.

both perfectly fine imo (disregarding the performance hit), although non-RT needs some slight levels + hsl adjustments via reshade to fix the overall contrast and green cast in the shadows. i was generally happy with how the game looked though, especially driving around that area with the giant multi-armed statue; that was one of the only moments in a game world that has left an actual impression on me in the last decade id' say. that and jig jig street which always looks good. i really need to try it out on an OLED. night city is just cool to wander around in, at least superficially.
>>730929003night time image is a little cooler, and that's how it looked the first time i saw it (it was a scripted vehicle cutscene iirc). the sense of scale and all the neon lighting surrounding it was awesome.
