The first game I played was some really old multi-game that almost feels like I made it up during a fever dream. It had some tank battle mode but the arena you fought in was really dark, then there was some chess like mode. That's all I remember from it, I used to play it all the time when I had dial up as a kid but I have no fucking idea what it was called.

might have been command and conquer. we thought it was a fighter plane game because of the cover. first PC was actually an impressive PC for the time. my dad traded a car for it.
