It is genuinely amazing how much they botched her and her story. Make this new main character yet fail to continue to develop her and the thing with her dad. I can't even hate her, or really call her a bad character, because she was given nothing. One of the things that makes Ratchet's Future and onward narrative side so frustrating. Legit not even againist more "serious" storytelling in this franchise (Deadlocked is still kinda the peak of that lol), if only it was actually done well yet also keep that same vibe of the older games if that makes sense.
