What are your thoughts about people trying to imitate your way of drawing and coloring? Your style? I know that when artists look at drawings from other artists, they sometimes end up acquiring certain bits of skill because they saw value in learning about them to implement in their own style in the future. But what if they want to copy the whole result instead? To wield the style of the other to draw things they like? Would you feel happy for inspiring someone to draw like you?

If I were a pessimist I could wish they copied someone better than me. But if they draw like that because they like it enough, then it's a great compliment. It would be different if they were riding your coattails, trying to get popular or even trying to replace you. That would be lame

>>730963781If I spend a long time on something I'll usually have a temporary background of either a desaturated yellow on pink, depending on whatever contrasts better with colors I go for. Wearing blue light glasses also helps a lot while drawing. I couldn't even use my old laptop without them, the screen on that thing was terrible and hurt my eyes looking at it.
