the only problems with the switch 2 is it's bland and it's too expensive for what it is
but that's true of everything else right now and somehow it ended up the cheapest thing
the hardware itself is high quality and a nice upgrade from the original switch, iteration done right is a good thing and they've actually been improving the backward compatibility on games that have issues even if it's slow, having backwards compat in the first place on a system that got a shitton of games is already pretty damn compelling
I basically replaced my switch instead of starting over again and they finally have an at least established online account system to carry over games
they really just have games which is the most important and basic thing yet somehow Microsoft and sony just shit the bed while valve fucks around with hardware instead of software
i like the switch 2
the switch might have become my favorite Nintendo system because i like the gimmick and it just has games, i never cared for dedicated handhelds much because the games always felt like half of what consoles offered but now i can just play full ass games in my bed with my arms wherever the fuck i want using 2 joycons and have the thing propped up whenever i want because the 2 is just the switch but better in basically every way
except the wifi chip, which is somehow the shittiest thing of all time
