This game feels no where near as good as silksongI'm playing it for the first time after completing ss a few months back and everything about it is worseSilksongs story is instantly better. not really sure whats going on other than go find the city below thats full of riches and interacting with stuff just gives vague dark souls tier nonsenseI've one shot every boss so far. They all have 1/2 attacks, though I'm only up to the red ghost guy who challenges you past the tramThe zones all rook same but perhaps its cos i'm still early in the gameHow did this game get so highly rated? Is it just cos everyone played it first?
>>730942036Yeah you were supposed to play it before Silksong. It’s easier and more laid back.
>playing those games out of orderWhy would you have done that? Especially in this day and age? I haven't done that since the age of video rental stores. Or at the latest, jumping into a multiplayer game mid sequel to play with friends. In which case, I probably disregarded the story anyway. You have no excuse here. You ruined it for yourself.
>>730942036its an amazing game, silksong is just perfect, but it's way more simple, bosses are certainly not as hard and exploration is a bit less interesting, but if you enjoy that type of game it's great fun, having to senselessly backtrack just because tram stations are far away from points of interest sometimes ruins the experience though
its been a while since i played hk1 but ss just has a better 'base' story without getting into all the autistic lore shit>kidnapped by holy people from the citadel wanting to use your silk>escape and try to figure out whats going on>looking up shows you your end goal, like trying to get to the erdtree in ER>gotta climb higher and higher, following all the pilgrims to finally reach the citadel and defeat the big badhollow knight 1 never gave me any of that
>>730942036Silksong is a direct upgrade. HK has emptier levels, less enemy variety, less story.
